Website and application terms

These terms cover how you use this website and what happens when you submit a form.

Using this website

Content on this site is published for information. Event details, formats and dates can change, and the published version on the relevant event or competition page is the current one.

Applications

Submitting an application does not guarantee a place. Places are confirmed by the Super Trowel team by email, and each competition's own rules apply once you are entered.

Event tickets

A QR ticket is issued for the event and attendee count shown during registration. Tickets may be cancelled if they are duplicated, transferred fraudulently or used contrary to the event entry conditions. Event dates, venues and access arrangements may change; the relevant published event page is authoritative.

Results

Results appear on the site once judging is complete and the organisers publish them. Unpublished results are shown as pending.

Rankings

Rankings are calculated automatically from published results, as explained in the rankings guide. The organisers may update how rankings are calculated and may apply code of conduct sanctions to the overall rankings.

Code of conduct

Competitors represent Super Trowel, its partners and the trade, at events and in public. The following break this code of conduct, whether at an event, online or in the media: - homophobia, racism or any other discrimination - a directed attack on an individual or company - any other abusive conduct, or conduct that brings the competition into disrepute If a competitor breaks the code of conduct, the organisers may apply ranking sanctions. These include deducting ranking points, or making the competitor ineligible for the top three of the overall rankings so they place no higher than fourth. Sanctions apply to the overall rankings for every season and all time. Individual categories such as scoring bricks, bricks laid and quality are not affected. The organisers may also remove the competitor from the rankings or decline future entries. The organisers' decision is final.
