How do I build a driveway?

Safety is my number one priority because I have young children who are always running around, and my elderly parents visit quite often. I’m worried that a resin-bound surface might become very slippery when it’s wet or during the frosty winter months. It looks so smooth and shiny in the photos that I’m concerned it might be like an ice rink. Is there a way to add extra grip to the surface without ruining the beautiful aesthetic of the polished stones?

It’s a common misconception that the smooth finish equates to a lack of grip; in fact, the textured nature of the aggregate provides a naturally slip-resistant surface. During the final stages of a Resin Driveway installation, a fine layer of crushed glass or "crushed clear quartz" is lightly cast over the wet resin to provide an invisible, high-friction finish. This creates an extremely safe walking and driving environment that meets all the standard anti-slip requirements while allowing the natural beauty of the stone to shine through perfectly.
