The 2026 Super Trowel series opened in strong fashion at the Irish Regional, hosted by Southern Regional College in Newry, Northern Ireland. The first regional of the season brought a great atmosphere, a strong standard of bricklaying, and the first places locked in for the Grand Final. Chris Quinn took 1st in the Pro Series with 665 laid and 593 scoring, while Damien O’Neill secured 2nd with 578 laid and 553 scoring. In the Junior Series, Arran Barr claimed the win with 145 laid and 135 scoring. A huge thank you goes to Southern Regional College for hosting the event once again, and to main regional sponsor The Keystone Group - including Keyfix, Keystone Lintels and IG Masonry Support - for backing the entire Irish Regional and helping launch the 2026 series in proper style.
