Hi all, I run a café in Birmingham and recently ordered some extra-large faux lead planters from Idealist Planters to spruce up our outdoor seating area. They’ve transformed the space—customers love the modern look, and the grey finish is spot-on for our vibe. Only issue is one arrived with a slight crack on the rim. It’s not super noticeable, but I’m wondering if I should push for a replacement or just live with it. Anyone dealt with their customer service for damaged items? Also, any plant recs for these big 110cm planters to make the space pop?

Nice choice! I’ve used Idealist’s concrete troughs for my coffee shop’s patio, and they’re sturdy and look high-end. No cracks here, but their delivery is so well-packaged, I’m surprised you had an issue. Definitely reach out to their customer service—they’ve been great in my experience, even for small queries. For those big planters, try some colorful perennials like lavender or salvia to draw attention. Maybe add some trailing ivy for extra flair. Looks great in Birmingham’s vibe!
Hi all! I run a café too and ordered some large faux lead plant pots the UK from Idealist Planters—love how they transformed my outdoor space! I had a similar issue with a small crack, and their customer service was quick to offer a replacement or refund. For 110cm planters, try bold statement plants like large ornamental grasses, boxwood spheres, or even dwarf citrus trees for a fresh vibe. They really make the area stand out and keep it inviting for customers. Good luck!
